Biography:

Ryeora Choe received her PhD in Sociology from the University of New Mexico. Ryeora previously worked as a research and teaching assistant for Refugee Well-being Project, mainly working on facilitating and coordinating weekly Learning Circles for refugee families and students, conducting interviews and analyzing qualitative data from participants, and working on research papers. She is now co-director of United Voices for Newcomer Rights. Her research interest is mental health issues among refugees, specifically cross-cultural concepts on mental health.
