Suha Amer was born in Iraq and moved with her three children to Albuquerque in 2008. Suha has an M.A. in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies from the University of New Mexico and was a co-director and a teacher in Congregation B’nai Israel preschool for four years. Her children were participants in RWP from 2009-2010, and Suha began working with RWP in 2009. Suha is also a co-founder of UVNR. She speaks English and Arabic.
